Number: ? - Railroad: See below - Status: Abandoned Location: Noti, OR - Type: see below Photo date: 7/2004 - Build Date: 1920s - Retired: ?
These Cabooses apparently belong to a Scott Arden. I spotted them about 100 yards off of the highway at 20457 Hwy 126, Noti, Oregon. A source indicates that they've been here for more than 30 years but were in good shape when they were brought here. They are current in very sad shape and appear to collapsed and probably unrestorable. But much of the original hardware appears to still be in place.
Both cabooses appear to be painted in BN green colors and markings. But my source indicates that one caboose is a 26 or 27 foot car originally from Burlington Northern while the other is a 24 foot car originally from the Great Northern. I have no further info at this time.
