The second caboose at the Big Valley RV community. This one appeared to have been
somewhat modified with a more modern window.  The interior looked original, but one wall had
caved in.  It appeared to me that they were attempting to restore it.

I spotted this caboose in someone's front yard near Barton, OR. The owner was kind enough to
show me around, but he didn't know that much about the history. It was purchased from Dick
Samuals in the late 1980s.   Siding was restored and interior is in excellent condition.  But it's
not sitting on trucks.

These Cabooses apparently belong to a Scott Arden.  I spotted them about 100 yards off of the
highway at 20457 Hwy 126, Noti, Oregon.   A source indicates that they've been here for more
than 30 years but were in good shape when they were brought here.  They are current in very
sad shape and appear to collapsed and probably unrestorable.  But much of the original
hardware appears to still be in place.

Both cabooses appear to be painted in BN green colors and markings.  But my source
indicates that one caboose is a 26 or 27 foot car originally from Burlington Northern while the
other is a 24 foot car originally from the Great Northern.   I have no further info at this time.
